Correctional Management Institute of Texas (CMIT) - The Correctional Management Institute of Texas (CMIT) was created in 1994 as a parallel program to the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) and became responsible for developing and delivering professional development training programs for personnel in juvenile and adult institutional and community corrections agencies. National Association of County Officials (NACo) - The National Association of Counties (NACo) is the only national organization that represents county governments in the United States. National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) – The mission of NCCHC is to improve the quality of health care in jails, prisons and juvenile confinement facilities. National Sheriff’s Association (NSA) - The National Sheriffs' Association, now in its sixty-seventh year of serving law enforcement and other criminal justice professionals of the nation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field. Nebraska Sheriff’s Association - The Nebraska Sheriff’s Association is the state’s Oldest organization of its kind. Oklahoma Sheriffs' Association (OSA) - The Oklahoma Sheriffs' Association (OSA) is a non-profit association which represents the elected Sheriffs, in all 77 counties of Oklahoma.  The Association has 4,000 active members which includes Deputies, Detention Officers, Reserve Deputies and support staff making it one of the largest law enforcement associations in the state. Oregon State Sheriff’s Association - The Oregon State Sheriffs' Association was formed in 1916 to give Oregon Sheriffs a single, effective voice --- every sheriff working diligently with their fellow sheriffs through the Oregon State Sheriffs' Association to update and improve their profession and to elevate the entire law enforcement system through cooperation with all other enforcement agencies from the FBI to the one-man police departments. South Dakota Sheriff’s Association - The South Dakota Sheriffs’ Association was formed in 1953. The association was originally organized by former Pennington County Sheriff Glenn Best who wanted to form a committee of Sheriffs to share ideas and work together toward common law enforcement goals in South Dakota. Texas Chief Deputies Association - The Texas Chief Deputies Association aims to promote cooperation and communication between law enforcement agencies in the state of Texas as well as promoting the exchange of ideas and information among law enforcement so that the safety and well-being of the citizens of the state of Texas will be assured. Sheriff’s Association of Texas - The Sheriffs’ Association of Texas is one of the oldest law enforcement associations in the nation.
