Chris Capoot

Chris Capoot has more than 12 years of senior management experience in correctional healthcare. He founded CHM in 1997 in partnership with his wife, Cristina Capoot. Since 1997, Mr. Capoot has served as CHM’s Senior Vice President.  In this role, he is responsible for development and management of company growth, budgets and staffing as well as the management of quality assurance efforts, utilization reviews, budget tracking and development of policies and procedures.

Prior to founding CHM, Mr. Capoot served as Support Manager for Preferred Correctional Medical Team. He also worked as Medical assistant for the Clinical Nutrition Center.

Mr. Capoot is a member of the Colorado Jail Association, American Jail Association and the American Correctional Association. He has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Depauw University, while completing required pre-med course work.
